Chairpersons Message
Without there being unusual and special circumstances acceptable to the co-chairs, the cut off date for refunds shall be Thursday February 13th, 2025.
Dear Eastern Canadian Regional Members
The goal at the start of CERAASA in 2013 in Longueuil, Quebec was to bring unity to the areas of the Eastern Canadian region. Since then we have witnessed a new unity amongst our areas. The host committee for the 2025 CERAASA wishes to continue building that unity. We strive to be inclusive with all who attend, especially members attending their first CERAASA. So please join us in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia February 21 to 23, 2025.
CERAASA 2025 is shaping up to be a full weekend of activity featuring the following: all Ten Area Delegates will give their 2-minute highlights and we will have workshops to discuss agenda items for the conference. There will be presentations from members on topics of interest to A.A. as a whole. The Trustee’s will be giving updates from their committees. More importantly, this weekend gives all A.A. members a chance to become part of the process by having your voice heard through discussions and questions and answer sessions. Translation services will be provided throughout the weekend in all the main ballroom events. There will also be separate French and English workshops and panels. A dinner banquet will be held on Saturday where we will sit together for a meal and a Speaker. Oh, and of course an Ice Cream Social on Friday night.
The CERAASA 2025 committee is dedicated to being as inclusive as possible at all levels of the A.A. service structure. To support this commitment, we encourage all who register to indicate your area number, service position and most importantly, if you are willing to participate in any of the presentations in some capacity such as presenter, reader or moderator. This is your event and we will need your involvement for it to be a success.
As Bill W. wrote in November 1951: “By our Twelve Steps we have recovered, by our Twelve Traditions we have unified and through our Third Legacy – Service – we shall carry the A.A. message down through the corridors of time to come.” (Language of the Heart – Services Make us Tick, page 134). So we graciously invite you to join us in the Fellowship of the Spirit to enjoy and celebrate our Three Legacies of Recovery, Unity and Service.
Thank you,
Yours in Love and service.
